Make a reservation!!! Came on a Thursday and booked a 5:30 reservation (aka when the restaurant opens) and there was already a handful of customers getting seated the moment the doors opened. Drinks here are amazing! They are strong--in a good way. Getting your money's worth. I really liked their frozen slushies. Their flavors rotate! When I went they had banana and raspberry--both delicious. For food we ordered for the table some chips & guac and queso. The mushroom queso was DELISH. For mains, I ordered myself the fish tacos. OMG they were so good. It comes as 2 tacos but the fish was HUGE! The size of my palm. Came piping hot and fresh. Vibe of this place was like an elevated casual spot. Great environment for casual socializing! Service was fast as well. Food was fresh and hot from kitchen. Great food and drink selection. Would come back again!

any vegetarians out there - the al pastor cauliflower tacos and the beetroot broccolini tostatadas were both incredible! so flavourful! we all got great cocktails as well! in terms of crowds, it was insanely busy on a friday evening and so it took a bit too get seated. in terms of ambience, although I loved the interior decor, it was so loud so I definitely had to yell across the table all night which I don't love

Made a reservation for 6 on tonight (saturday). It was just me and my husband but we arrived a little early and were seated immediately: the decor was so interesting inside. We ordered drinks and esquires to start. My husband ordered the mango drink with whiskey, and I ordered the orange crush they were both so good! The esquites were quite good but could have used more flavor. 6/10 I ordered the tuna tacon and my husband got the carne asada tacos. They were both tasty, I was surprised by the tuna one, it was quite the explosion of flavors. 9/10. We also got churros to end the night and they were hella good. 8/10. The service was SO fast and we were done with our dinner in like an hour. Seems like a fun vibe to stay for a little longer with friends!

Loló sells an upscale casual dining experience that is always booked and busy. Be prepared to make a reservation for ease of service. The food and drinks are solid. Neat cocktails and good selection of wines. Service is timely as well. No complaints. You'll have a good time and can walk away full. Also accommodating of vegetarians.

My friend and I visited Lolo on a Tuesday evening and it was fairly busy. We sat at the bar and the service was great. Our food came out very quickly. The house empanadas were a solid 4.25/5! They were cheesy, flavourful, and a great size. The tuna and the fried avocado tacos were a 3.5/5. They were good but smaller than we were expecting. I was also expecting a little more flavour from the avocado. Overall the restaurant was nice and there were a handful of vegetarian options. I would definitely come back!

Cool location in the mission that has an larger lower level for more space (quieter downstairs so you could hear each other better). Slightly more upscale Mexican food. The tacos were decently big for its higher price and the flavors are unique. I got the fried avocado and the fish taco. Both were great but could've used a little more acidity - I kept scraping the plate for a bit more pickled veggies bc that really completed the taco for me. I liked the fried avocado more. The fish taco had a lotta sauce but not as flavorful as expected - nicely fried though.

I have tried to walk in here on at least 1-2 other occasions only to be turned away because it was busy. This time, I had a reservation! The space inside is fun with some funky music choices but not so loud that you can't have a conversation. We had the ceviche ($18) and I ordered the cauliflower Al pastor tacos ($14). The ceviche chips were good, lightly salted and not super greasy. I liked the big pieces of shrimp, though the fish wasn't super tender. I loved the cauliflower tacos! They come piled high with veggies and salsa, and contained a lot of flavor. I think they would've been even better if they were slightly spicy, but that's a personal preference. Our server checked in on us regularly and didn't rush us too much with the bill, which is much appreciated!

Where there is ceviche, there is Julie. I've had this place bookmarked for a while now and finally tried it tonight! I came on a Saturday and was not surprised to see a crowd. Lucky for us, our "40 min" no reservation wait ended up only being 15 min! We sat outside, but were not cold at all thanks to the heaters. The employees were all very sweet. They were quick to take our orders/ bring us our food and would periodically check in with us to make sure everything was good! And good it was - the shrimp ceviche was amazing. That's all I got for myself, but I would come back again and again just for that. Lots of shrimp. Perfect amount of lemon. Chips didn't taste greasy. Definitely a big enough size to share with friends, but you might want to get your own because it's too good to share if you ask me.
